Celestial Being arrives at Katharons base. Saji, unwilling to remain with either Celestial Being or Katharon, escapes but is captured by an Earth Federation ship - Sergei Smirnov interrogates him, but releases Saji when his presence is leaked to the A-Laws and he can no longer guarantee Saji's safety. However, with the information Saji has disclosed, the A-Laws launch an attack on Katharon's Middle East base with automaton droids, killing both guerrillas and civilians, which furthers Soma and Kati Mannequin's doubt in the A-Laws' actions.
